I'm considering going the Conti DWS route, am still on the fence about doing this vs. having a designated winter and summer set. Are the DWS porsche approved? I have a tire warranty and am not sure if this would void it.

No The DWS are not N rated, Porsche approves no all season tires for 911 that I'm aware of...

OK - After a year I must say this tire really impresses me. The wear is great, grip in cold was outstanding... and not to exaggerate, but it does seem like the grip over winter was as good as my SUV. Not a single slip... amazing.

This is by far my favorite all-season tire.

NOTE: This is not a summer performance tire and you will not be happy for DE's or weekend drivers only. However, for year around daily drivers you will not be disappointed.

agreed, I have about 1000 miles on my DWS and love the quiet smooth ride. They have a little less cornering ability but are great for the street. Now I can extend my driving season into the cold weather too. All four for $1,000.

What size wheels and tires do you have with your DWS? I believe they only go up to 295/30-19 for the rears. The specs for my car call for 305/30-19.

Thanks

Thanks. Are the 295 size "stretched" a bit to fit on the 11 inch rims? Did the installer think they were a tight fit?
