I installed a LED kit about a year or so ago in my 2006 CS. The license plate lights were always an issue. It took me a while for them to work and then one went out. Now neither are working. I drive very little at night and they look fine.

I did a search and found both Suncoast and ECS have options. Does anyone have experience with either of these in a 997.1?

I have not personally bought these from ECS Tuning, but I have worked with them in the past and carry good reliable products with good customer service. I would not think you would a problem with them

 

Our 997/987 kits are factory parts, they're fantastic. Not drop in bulbs, but complete housing modules. Very nice!!

 

+1 for the Suncoast part. It's OEM and not overpoweringly bright as some of the other kits. It has about the right amount of brightness and in the right shade. It's a huge step up from the halogen bulb.
