Hi, I just bought used 2006 997 with PCM Navi. I tried Navigation. Navigation start navigate, but is absolutely inaccurate and unuseable. I checked status and there is not GPS Signal (0 Satelites). Have anyone experienced same problem, broken PCM or antenna? Thanks for help

 

Don't have any first hand experience , but looked to buy a 2006 C2s, and similar problem...Nav calculated route, but display was frozen at previous location, and did not update route display. Dealer said may be 300-500 to repair, not sure if he was being straight. Good luck, key us know how it gets resolved .

is this a Euro version car, or is this a US car relocated to europe?
In that case they may need to "Reteach it the satellites"
We use different satellites for Nav here than in Europe.
I know that on my portable nav That I took to Europe for the summer I had to "Reteach it the satellites to use"

This is European car. I will take car to service tomorow and they will check antenna conection.

 

If it is Euro, then most probably the antenna as you said

last I heard both interauto and smichov are both bad!

 

Antenna and all wires are ok maybe faulty pcm.
