ANy other great thoughts about this move?

I'm in the same predicament have an 03 C4S, fairly modded to my liking but keep looking at 997s and am leaning towards it, so someone help me get over the hump! lol...

For me it was easy. I had a 99 C2 Cab stick. It ran and looked like new but doing my own oil changes I found strange flakes in the filter. Looked to me like maybe a piston was losing it's coating. Slightly magnetic. It wasn't a IMS bearing. The car had 50,000 miles and maybe it would go another 50K but if the engine blew it would cost more to fix than it was worth. So I traded it on a brand new 2012 997 C2 S Cab in Nov 2011. Wow what a difference. The PDK is fantastic. It is so much faster and handles better. Even the heated steering wheel is the cat's meow.

hate the 996...loved my 997 S MT and love my 997.2 S pdk even more.
drove the 991 S MT - LOVED it...love the everything they did to the car just not worth my car plus a barrel or 2 of cash

I never owned a 996 as I didn't care for the looks. The 997 has more traditional 911 lines. I love the power and handling of my C4S with its MT.
