throttle adaptation. how often do we need to do this
throttle adaptation. how often do we need to do this
just brought the car for new engine mounts after 4 years. some vibration was being felt so engine mounts were replaced. during final check before release my tech guy said car felt sluggish. he then plugged in PIWIS and sure engough there was an exclamation point beside throttle adaptation. he went through the procedure and sure enough no more warning and all seemed to be good.
question is why did it get thrown off and how often should this procedure be done and when? anybody know? lastly can the durametric do this? Car is a 2010 997.2 S

Can't help on the throttle adaptation, but wanted to ask how many miles (km) are on the motor mounts? Are they stock or RS type? Is the vibration throughout the rpm range or at specific points on the curve?
Re the adaptation, did the tech say how or why this would change? TIA and good luck with your C2S.

Thanks for the quick reply. Glad yours is running well, seems 25K km is low for engine mounts to fail. Warranty replacement I hope. Will also follow this thread on the adaptation. No issues with my C2, just looking ahead.
Be well.

How did you know your motor mounts needed replaced?? Can you feel it?
I'm taking mine in next week to get the squeaky spoiler addressed and hoping I can get the ECU reflash as well, maybe help with the rough idle and weird throttle issues. Nothing extreme, just some of the little glitches the fly-by-wire throttle seems to create.
