Avant Garde Ruger Mesh Wheels | 11' Width in the Rear | Special 997 Pricing!
I just purchased a set of Avant Guard Ruger Classic wheels, super sport cup tires, New Tpms sensors and stems from my local dealer here in Tampa (Reeves), should have them on my Monday12/23 and will post pics. Reviews of the wheel seemed solid and fit my budget.
Congrats on the purchase!
Avant Garde Ruger Mesh Wheels
Ordered mine yesterday... Super Price and will receive them in less than a week. Need4Speed beat everyone's deal by a large margin. Excellent customer service... Thanks Golan.
If it's that great of a deal, why have they blown off five member's requests to post pricing on the forum for all to see? I don't get it. Instead of openly promoting a deal that supposedly beats everyone else they just come across as arrogant.
Could be the manufacturer saying not to post prices less than MSRP. Or it could be with the search function, an old post with pricing could be brought up and cause sour grapes for some. However, I agree, it's annoying...and everyone does it, like it's some big f-ing secret. 9 times out of 10 the deals are not deals at all when you get the PM price. (not implying this is one of them, just an observation)
I wouldn't say arrogant, I would say it's just smart business.
If you think annoying potential customers by ignoring them is "smart business" then you're spot on. If responding constructively to potential customer's questions is smart business then you're off target. Five members asked about pricing and all five were completely ignored.
If they have a good reason not to post pricing on the forum then why not spit it out instead of just blowing off those who ask? To me at least, that would be much more useful than reading about all the shipments they've made....

We definitely have not blown anyone off. Anyone who had a problem with us not posting the price was PMed personally by me (including you) as to why we cannot post the price on the OP. I know it is a hassle for some to PM but you will usually get a PM back from me within 5 minutes during business hours.
All said, I don't understand what all the maneuvering is about. Unless every customer who gets a price via PM is sworn to silence, how do you expect your price to remain a secret? You have a good product at a price you think will be hard to beat and you stand by the service and support you provide so why not post the price and save yourself and everybody else both time and hassle? If you don't, somebody else will soon enough if they haven't already.
all good and well but nobody except those who received your pm would know that you responded so reading this thread, it still looks like they were ignored. All you had to do was reply on the open forum with "pm sent".
