In search of NA 997 turbo kit.

im considering purchasing a 2006-2007 911. I was wondering what after market turbo kit would be best for the non turbo 997.

Thanks in advance!
Max

(if you're asking why not just buy the turbo, its not in my budget for a 997 body and don't want to settle for a 2001-2002 for the same price as the 06'-07' 997… I'm into modding and tuning my cars so I look forward to getting the project under way, just wondering whats preferred as far as kits and cooling for the NA. Thx again!)

If I remember correctly TPC Racing made a turbo kit for 997's. Good luck

@carrera997re SC kits just don't have the ***** down the straight and can't keep up in my experience. Think turbo is the way to go on this setup.

Are there any other kits besides the TPC for the 997 that anyone else might know of off hand?

I hear you buttt from what i have read in the past the VF is a bit more reliable but skyz the limit have someone build you a custom turbo setup. just my IMO

I know you already explained this, but IMO it would be much cheaper in the long run just to buy a Turbo.

I have a '06 C4 and I've had a TPC turbo for 3+ years. My motivation was similar to your own. I like modified cars and more importantly I didn't want to spend the huge $ difference between my C4 and the 911 turbo.

The performance with the TPC turbo has been fantastic. The TPC unit includes an exhaust which delivers a deep bass sound during normal sub 3k RPM trips around town. Step on the gas and the car's a monster with dramatically better acceleration and a real roar from the exhaust.

It's been completely reliable. No regrets.

As for the supercharger, I think that's a solid choice as well. Both create a large boost to HP/torque.
