brake pad light

wifes c4 got a replace brake pad light today. looks like it will need rotors also as it is cut in pretty deep. Anyone know about what that will cost at a dealership. I don't know anything about any of the indies around here to risk them. It a 2008. my guess is around $1K.

I'd do it myself but can't predict the weather. By the time i get the parts it may be frigid outside and i don't feel like sitting on that cold concrete.

Porsche factor rotors + pads + sensors + caliper bolts are about $500 + about 2 hours labor at most.

local dealership labor is about $150.00 per hour, so I guess I'm looking at close to $1K per axle.

Which dealer? When I priced the package, it was more than $500.00.

Thx

I shoud have done them myself. Front pads, sensors and Brake spring kit, brake flush and brake fluid for the front aloone was $898.00. And, they didn't even turn the rotors. I could have done the front and changed rotors as well for less than that. Live and learn. They quoted About $1500.00 to do plugs which includes "service interval." I think I will find an indie and just ask for plugs. I can change the cabin air filter.
