Infant, Toddler, and Child Car Seats

I will be needing all three (3) baby on the way and due out in April. Here is summary of all the multiple car seat posts out there. Did I miss anything?

Infants: 0-30 lbs or 0-12 months
Seat must be rear facing and in the 911 it only fits on the passagner seat. (key deactivation of airbag required). (wife seats in rear).

Toddlers: 30lbs - 60 lbs and 1 year through 4 years
Car seats are Forward Facing and can be installed in the rear (Britax or Porsche seat works best)

Child: 40lbs - 80lbs and 3 years and up
Recaro Booster seats are popular was well as the Porsche made one

Only one (1) person has managed a rear facing seat for an Infant:

voodoojar:
Graco comfortsport will fit exactly perfect rear facing in the back seat

I have a Britax rear-facing child seat for an infant that fits in the back seat. You cannot use the base. You have to belt it in with the hooks on the top of the seat. Passenger seat has to be all the way foward and fairly erect. Couldn't imagine a wife seating in the back....

not sure how to upload pics on here...

its very snug. The belt tightens it very secured. It is also wedged in tight by the seats. my kid likes it because he can see out the window, is right by the speaker so he can hear awesome tunes and the hum of the flat 6 puts him to sleep.

Chicco Keyfit 30 can fit in the rear seat, rear-facing, and with the base. Plus, your wife will fit in the passenger seat. We are expecting in March, and just did this research and actually tried multiple car seats.

This is something I want to get for my brother-in-law since theirs is expected in early February.

Anything wrong with just going by Consumer Reports?
