PTM, Drive off assistant, and sport mode FAILURE?

PTM, Drive off assistant, and sport mode FAILURE?
Anyone have these failure occur all of a sudden simultaneously?
If so, what was the problem?
Just had this happen all of a sudden. And the Drive off Asst and Sport Mode does not work.
Nothing done to the car recently other than I had just washed it and drove for a 2 minutes.

I just had the same thing happen starting a few weeks ago. Happened multiple times. Most often I would get the drive off assistant and spoiler control failures. It would go back to normal by itself while driving or reset with re-start so the condition was never permanent.
Had my car serviced at the dealer (40K) and had them look into this. According to the service department, there were multiple codes thrown all due to voltage variations and they stated that the battery electrolytes were low and filled it up and re-charged it. (they did also say that this was the first step as this was the LIKELY cause - not a definitive one).
A week has now gone by (Daily Driver) and I did get one "Drive Off Assistant Failure) after that. But that is it. Waiting to see if it will repeat itself or if it is gone.
GIjbop and wolfnards, did yours go away by itself as well or stay on?

it happened on Friday. Started the car a few times and error persisted. I've had it on the battery tender through the weekend and will check tomorrow. if it's still there, i'll bring it to the dealer and suggest having the module changed.
I assume this will be covered under the 4 year warranty? I purchased in Dec 2010, so still have a few months left on warranty.

I just got the same problem on my 997.2 c4. About 120 miles prior this issue I had front axle boots replaced, could this trigger the issue? My mechanic told me ptm module coding is the issue and he cannot overwrite it and it needs to be replaced. I just can’t believe that it happened randomly
