fuel vent line on 997?

In the engine compartment, is there a fuel vent hose on the 997.1? specifically 08 C4S? If so, could anyone help me locate it?
I looked at the parts diagram, 997 110 129 000 but do not see it when looking in the engine compartment. thx

Guess I'm missing something but I thought the fuel vent hose was inside the filler flap proximal to the gas cap.

yeah, there's one there. But some models have one in the engine compartment as well.

Having gas fumes around the engine with all that heat, don't you think that's risky?

You mean you don't want to vent gas fumes into the engine compartment?

Talking stock stuff here. Not mods. Evidently some 911s have a vent that goes from the engine back to the fuel tank. I don't think mine has it with the 3.8L engine
