Before & after dyno on new Fabspeed Air Intake and Fabspeed Perf. Exhaust
That's an awesome improvement considering you only did an intake and I am assuming when you say "exhaust" you mean mufflers correct? In other words your cats and headers are stock?
You should get cats done and then have a tune to match your mods and you'll really be surprised with the power gains you'll see afterward!!
Great pick-up in TQ, too. That's what you'll actually feel imo.

I've got the dual intake on mine and it absolutely screams in the higher parts of the rev range. I had people saying it sounded better than the GT3s running around when I did a track day last year. I've got Fabspeed Headers, high flow cats, and the intake. My 2007 was pulling on a 2011 GTS on the straight at Road Atlanta so there is for sure quite a bit of gain from these three items. I've been meaning to get a dyno just haven't had time to go.
I've wonder how the dual intake would sound. You answered that. I couldn't take the sound nor could my wife. So out it went not to mention there really wasn't any gains to be had.
I would have to say maybe the other car wasn't going as fast hence you appeared to be gaining up or away...whichever it was.
I was on the freeway Saturday and I passed an Infinity G35 couple(I think). I was already going about 75 and wasn't racing but he wanted to and he just pulled away when he caught up to me.
I'm thinking he was a sleeper with a turbo because I could see the lag and then he blasted ahead. I didn't engage in the high speed racing because I want cornering speed and not straight line speed. If I wanted that, I would get a 'stang or Vette.
Make the car handle well not trying to keep up with GTS, GT3 or Turbos. Everyone has what they like on their car. Good luck!!

Added the plenum, GT3 TB, and X51 airbox/BMC...no noticeable gain, sound ok in upper rpm range.
Added the FVD 200 cell cats and FVD headers for PSE, that woke up throttle response, acceleration, sound...she run *good*.
It has been a while since those perf mods, maybe an ECU tune...maybe. Do have the TT in mind.
