+1 Agreed.

Before you pop your bubble, I saw a show on Velocity the other day and applying vinyl was discussed. Apparently a bubble can be common, even with the best installation. It said it could resolve itself. I would wait a few days first to see if it does before you take action on it.

A lot of installers use a syringe to pierce the bubble and extract the air. It works well.

Also, I ordered some "Carrera S" black carbon fiber magnet text to go one the lower door like the GTS. They said no one ever asked for magnetic text like that before so it's a test. Should look really cool with the same theme. And if it doesn't look good, it's magnetic! So easy to take off.
Sorry to thread jack but on their site there were two different cf ones, which ones did you get?

When I was able to move the other bubbles to the edge of the vinyl and out, there was a little burst of water. Thus, I think there is water under the bubble. a pin or syringe probably would work, I only worry about where the increased surface area will disperse (bubble has greater surface area than flat) and I might get a wrinkle. Also, if it is water, time will probably not fix it; where would the water go?

I ordered the following from the catalog...

"Carbon Fiber “Speedster” Magnetic Stone Guards

Patterned from the 997 Speedster. We mount 3M black carbon fiber film to high energy magnetic material. We then precision cut. Unlike the clear guards, these SG’s will not yellow over time. These shark fins add an agressive look. These stone guards mount right over the factory SG’s in seconds. Perfect for track events or long trips.

Black Carbon Fiber...........................................$8 9.95 set.(SS-SG-CF)"

Great job on the black stone guards, but your car would look fabulous with clear or black. I do like the black with the black wheels though. My Targa has a lot of black trim due to the Targa hatch and roof. Do you think black stone guards would look good or bad?

Volnomad, I think clear works better with your color. It is a very unique color, and in my opinion, black stone guards just wouldn't look right on your car.

When I installed mine there was a bubble with water. I left it be and the water eventually evaporated causing the bubble to disappear
