Bought a really nice 08 911S that had all the right parts, just didn't quite have the look I was looking for. After a set of springs compatible with PASM, new wheels, front grill painting, tint, rear badge & hood/side di noc vinyl removal she is starting to come around. Going to install a nice matte black narrow 4.0 style stripe down hood w/gloss black PORSCHE and 1/4 red around outside. Upload stripe pic hopefully tomorrow. Almost there, now the weather just has to work for me!!

 

Looks great! So much fun to personalize the car...

 

Whats with the RS badge? Is that an RS car?

 

Nix the rs and leave the 911also the mesh would look 100 times better black. Imo

The first few pictures are BEFORE. Only the very last one is a current picture. He said he removed the vinyl as well as the badges and painted the grill, which would mean the last pic is how it sits currently.

What size wheels did you go with? 20's? How's the ride/handing?

 

Stuck with 19x11 / 19x8.5 since the car had brand new Michelin SS on it. Just wasn't fond of the 19" sport wheels on it. RS badge is off also! Had to go along with the 911 since it was then off-centered without the rs.

I have a twin. Looks great, I like the center exhaust. Looks like you are a carbo fiber wrap on your front hood?

Wow. Looking through the pics I thought to myself... "totally awesome I just wish he would lose the vinyl, the badges and paint the mesh black. Would look good with black wheels, too..."

And TADAA!! Good work. Love the all red tails. I would leave the car 100% as is (not a fan of stripes) but at least it's reversible if you change your mind!
