I know this has been done to death and I have searched far and wide on the posts. But still clear how much of work this mod is.

I have a 2006 4S widebody, question is would a 997.1 turbo kit better or a 997.2 turbo wing. Before I commit want to know how much work is involved. I know I have to lose the air box that isn't a problem but want to maintain the electronic lift of the spoiler etc..

I am not sure if there is any difference other than possibly the wiring harness between the two. I think only difference is between coupe and convertible.

 

Thanks I take it the 997.2 wing is the same fitment as well.

 

I cant tell you 100% but my 997.2 taillights work with 997.1 turbo wing

 

Cheers sleek-sam. Can some one tell me the difference between the turbo wings from a 997.1 and 997.2, visual etc. ?

 

I just did a search of both models on google images and I doubt they are visually any different.
