Thinking about purchasing this 2006 c2s, what do you think of this deal??
I will be doing a PPI.
I was just a bit concern if this vehicle was tracked due to the serious suspension mods and engine mods its got done.
for those who have seen this interior combo what do you think?

the car looks nice and has nice options; love cocoa leather.
if you are genuinely concerned re tracking, make sure your PPI includes compression+leakdown test.

Looks like a garage queen to me that someone spent a chunk of money on. The only suspension mod I see is the Bilsteins, very common for street use. No control arm or sway bar changes which are more likely for track use.
Looks like a good deal to me.

With all of the upgrades, it seems a little curious that he isn't asking more for it. That makes the PPI even more strongly required. Maybe he just wants an easy sell and has money to burn.
As long as the PPI pans out, I'd say it is a steal. I'd be surprised if it doesn't sell at that price in a fairly short time.

Based on the photos, it is a nice looking car. It seems to be heavy on the mods, which may not be for everybody. While mods are a personal choice, I also think that they limit the market size for a car. That could be impacting the price. It's like the guy who overdoes his house upgrades. Buyers aren't going to pay more for copper pipe they can't see, or fixtures they would never buy themselves.
Based on the photos, my only critiques, aside from the mod issue, are in the interior: the seat leather looks stretched and wrinkled and the carpet looks a little worn. Those may not be issues to you. I think when a person buys something as expensive as used Porsches are, that the car has to be in great shape. $45,000 for an 8 year old car with 30,000+ miles is a great deal of money. A person can buy a high end new car, with tons of features for that price. I am not advocating that. I would get a Porsche. I recently bought a 2006 C4S with 23,400 miles and a CPO. The car looks, and drives new, and was 1/2 of the MSRP, and the interior is mint!
I would make sure to take the car for a long test drive and get an independent mechanics review. It may be the car for you, or it may not. Personally, I would take a pass and keep looking.

GT3NJ, where in Jersey are you?
That's actually the "Supple Leather Interior" option for $395.

I like that explanation. However, I don't think my wife would like it if I referred to her wrinkles as "supple leather."

thats exactly what im thinking. the body kit looks so heavy ... too fast and furious for many i would assume.

it does look like a garage queen.. which is good or bad. lol
but the owner looks like he kept the car in good shape (from the pics)
although i am not a fan of the supple-leather seats, the car looks clean overall
some of the mods he added are pricey (HRE, TechArt, Bilstein, etc) , so if u were planning on doing some of those mods anyways, i think it makes sense
u can prob also call Sharkwerks since they are most likely familiar with this car and the owner
i haven't kept up-to-date on used 997 prices, so no comment on the price

I would agree that is not a track car at all!
