997 clutch recomendations

I probably need to replace the clutch in my 997 C2S.
When I depress the clutch fully it does not completely release the disc.
I am looking for recomendations on a replacement clutch. My car is all stock, but looking for a clutch that might be more durable but still really streetable.

You will spend more on an upgraded clutch than you need to. Anything beyond an OEM clutch is designed for more power, so why spend the money.

I totally understand that you would look for something more durable, but you wont find it without spending a ton.

New clutch with install should be around $2,000.

Sachs offers an upgraded performance clutch set. I think it's even cheaper than OEM Porsche.

How can those two things go together..."Upgraded and Cheaper"...

Good - Fast - Cheap

Good+Fast = Not Cheap
Cheap+Fast = Not Good
Good+Cheap = Not Fast

You can't have all three...

FYI just priced OEM clutch job from dealer and 2 Indy places.
Dealer $1950 parts and labor.
Indy $1500 parts and labor.

Both OEM clutch kits were about $750, difference was labor. 8hrs for both quotes.
