Dension 500 GW no config menu
Dension 500 GW no config menu
Hi,
I recently installed a Dension GW500 with the BTA1500 adaptor on a PCM 2.1 with navigation, but no phone or changer.
Dension is up to date with FW 2.22 and CD changer was not enabled on the PCM (in the info screen it detects the Dension as a changer but says Entered: No, found: Yes).
It has been connected using Installation Type 3a (inline with incoming light) and DIPs
1 off
2 on
2 on
3 off
4 off
5 on
The unit works great for playing via the 30pin to lighting cable with an iPhone or pairing BT and making a call.
The issues I have are:
- There seems to be no way to get to the configuration menu, when I press CD 6, it just stays on "Loading CD 6". This means I cannot change the source and iPhone in is the only way I can play music
- There is no track info displayed, it always just says Track 1/2/3/etc, but no artist, song name or anything
- With no iPhone it just shows CD 5 and 6, with an iPhone connected it shows CD1,3,4,5,6 (no 2)
- The volume on a call is impossible to hear, but as soon as i adjust the BT audio on the phone it fixes it. This doesn't seem to stick between restarts.
Has anyone else experienced the issues above?
Do you think they are caused by either the fact I don't have a cd changer enabled on the PCM, the limitations of the 500 vs the newer 500BT or limited by the fact I only connected it using a single optical connector (in+out)
