my new 997.2 bye bye 991 for now

Posting some pic of my NTM 2011 C2S coupe, PDK, sports chrono...

coming from a 991 C2S cab, a couple of quick observ, brakes are a little mushier on the 997, seats are better in 991, feel for road seems more in touch with 997.

planned mods:
-the Platinum silver is growing on me, my first thought was to wrap it, but i may just do black stone guards and a black frunk hood wrap
-black rims and exhaust tips
-exhaust, any advise appreciated. Want louder , not crazy and 0 drone.

beautiful silver car, but why did you get rid of the 991? I was thinking about getting 991 or 997.2 GTS next year. Can you give some insight thought of your decision? Thanks

FABSPEED exhaust! I have the full performance package on mine and love it. Normal mode = very fast GT car; sport mode = track star. Man, I love having a 997.

Some of the differences you're notice probably are because you're going from a cab to a coupe. I went from 996 cab to 997 coupe. Two different cars.

some reasons I posted on 991 forum:

- this is a good time to trade in as the Canadian $ has dipped in value. which has put a strain on pre owned volume here.

- I'll never own a black car again, God is it beautiful when its clean , but that never lasts long.

- 997 will be more of my DD and with some out of town work I'm going to rack up some km's. Wasn't comfortable doing that kind of mileage on the 991.

going to consider Fab speed , has anyone done the one that is controled by the key fob?

Good call. Bought my Turbo in November and was bummed that I only drove it twice before putting her in storage. Had I waited until now to buy,the car would had set me back an additional $14K CND because of the dip in the dollar...

Beautiful 997. I love my Tubi exhaust. A bit more italian/exotic sounding, but zero drone and music to my ears (and everyone else who gets to hear it). Quiet when you want it to be and loud when you want it to be.

I have the fabspeed with the key fob, I love having the option to be able to open and close the exhaust

This is my most likely option as I like having ability to turn off.

2 for 1

I did the same type of Sale. Sold my 911_50 after 2 months and bought a 22k miles 993 and 2011 C4S with $$ leftover. The 991 wasn't worth the $ difference.
