better to research and make an informed decision rather then just buying random parts based on one persons suggestion

from your posts it seems like you hadnt researched much on here, and you have only been speaking to EC, rather than multiple tuners to see who you like best or who might give you the best solution.

if im wrong and you have done hours and hours of research on here researching tuners and what products to use and what gains to expect then i stand corrected

it just seems like you are jumping in a little rather than taking your time and doing the research to make sure you know exactly what you are getting/getting into

Okay, finally a question with an easy answer. You posted a question to the forum, ignored most of the answers here, and within two days bought something without following up on most of the suggestions.

Overall, I'd say that you need to slow down and make sure you fully understand the risks/rewards of anything you do to your car. I saw another post you made on another thread about wheel torque, I looked it up, you said: "but tightening them as tight as you can with your arms should be fine right assuming you have the strength of a healthy male adult?". Here again, you were making blind uninformed decisions that could have disastrous results. This could easily result in the wheel bolts becoming overstretched and shearing off under load. Google what happens with over-tightened wheel bolts. As a concerned citizen, I'd hate to see you damage your expensive car and potentially yourself. I find it's a lot of fun trying to fully understand the best way to do things.

All that said, I truly hope you find the tune does the magic you are looking for without any long-term repercussions. You may also want to spend a few dollars on a torque wrench. Your life is worth it.

I looked into it, looked into APR, thought they were better suited to Golfs, same as revo, vivid do the softronic, i tried contacting softronic and still have not received a reply back from my email, I went with EC mainly because of their communication, i feel since i am purchasing this from the other side of the world this is important.

Jerry responded to every email within 5 min every time and there were alot of emails, if something goes wrong I dont want to be waiting a day or two for a response, so after looking into the cars they do - porsches lambos ferrari etc, and the fact that they do free re maps if needed and I get my own handheld thingi that i can flash back and forwarded between stock and tuned in 5min with no internet connection required, i decided to go with them. They have done alot of work with other tuners and racing teams they're opening up shop in the UK too soon so I feel theyll be around for a while and thats piece of mind for future remaps or support.

Happy911S is infamous around these parts
I had Jerry at EuroCharged do a ture of my 09 S after I installed a Fabspeed air intake. I love the induction sound but the car did not run well after the install at very low speeds. Jerry did a tune and now the car runs great. Can't say that I gained any power because never did a dyno before or after. I will say that Jerry is willing to do what it takes to make you happy.

Glad to hear your issue was fixed, at the end of the day that matters the most.

Hello,

Vivid does not sell Softronic so Im not sure if you contacted them. We did have an email from Sydney that came in after business hours this past weekend and was responded to on Monday otherwise there are no others and no reply came back with further questions. Should this have been your email then I would suggest you check your spam folder . The car was a tip is yours?

Softronic does use an internet connection for one flashing type yet in this day and age a phone as a hot spot works OK. We also have another flash tool that doesn't require it. We also include Durametric in which is an extra either way than just a flashing tool.

Softronic also has many race teams that work with us and many winning cars credited with our software.

Since you already purchased the software this post was more of a clarification.

Best,
Scott
