BC Forged wheels?

Hi guys,

Sorry for another thread on wheels... I tried searching but didn't find much.

Has anyone had any experience with BC Forged wheels? Or heard comments about them in general?

http://bcforgedwheelsusa.com/wheels.html
http://www.bcec.com.tw/wheel/index.html

I'm about to pull the trigger this week on a full bodykit and a set of new wheels.

Thanks in advance.

Simon

deaddana is infamous around these parts
they look nice for sure. are they priced like the big brands? ( hre, champion, etc)
alot of the wheels look the same with only slight variations. id have to buy at a big discount to take an unknown brand. unless something totally unique. harder to sell, if needed down the road, and i notice , they tend to discontinue wheel models more often so if you need a replacement , they may be hard to get.

They cost about US$1k each, 19", not exactly cheap and cost more than the ForgeStar which I was seriously considering.

I agree with deaddana. That's close enough in price to the most popular and reputable brands (HRE, Champion, BBS and Forgeline) where I would go that route instead. I don't recall ever hearing about the BC brand but the wheels do look good as well they should since they seem like direct replicas of the best sellers from the big brands.

You should check on Morr, they are also part of Forgestar, iForged and are competitively priced. It used to be all forged barrels are made by the same, 2 or 3 companies and each company (forged this and forged that, including many known brands) design only the center piece. I would assume BC forge is no different. Basically you are paying for the same wheel but different service.

Thanks guys.

sandwedge - yeh, their designs do look very familiar and I actually don't mind buying them from the bigger brand if they look the same. Do you happen to know which brand offer the same design as those below?

Ynot - that's exactly what I understood after reading all the info. I think the final deal breaker / maker for me this round will be on the service level from dealer.

they are great wheels. I've had my HB29 BC Forged wheels for almost 2 years and they are excellent in terms of both quality and style. I primarily went with BC forged because I wanted the deep concave style, in a 2 piece light weight forged wheel and had to keep it under my $4K budget. BC Forged was amongst the few that met all my criteria. Buy with confidence

Thanks aa909. Nice to hear directly from a user. I'm leaning towards the HB29 too. Would love to see a few pics of your ride with the these wheels ;-)

Thanks. Looks awesome!!! I think the 2-pc does standout more than the Forgestar's.

I will be going with satin / matt black, and will probably just plastic-dip the bolts to matt black as well.

Another vote for satin black, it always looks clean and hides brake dust. I just got a $2 can of black spray paint from home depot, got a piece of cardboard, stuck the bolts in and started to spray, let it dry and installed it back on my car. It looks great.

you may also want to check out their design and manufacturing process. I believe they do all this in house:

We have installed a couple of sets from BC Forged and have never had any type of issues with them. The fitment for applications was spot on and customers seem to love them.

Last time we ordered from them - they were made to order and took a short amount of time to get but nothing like some of the other brand wheels companies.
