Beautiful weather this weekend so I took the car for a ride along the North Shore of LI. Waved at a Jaguar E Type Coupe. A 997.2 Turbo Cabriolet and Maserati GT. And I got nothing back from any of them.

No more waving.

Absolutely do.

LOL today a fellow in this beatup ancient BMW drives near me and holds up a tattered 911 repair manual and yells "I own 50 Porsche" and I yell "can I buy you a beer?".

I'm 28,
I've owned two modded VW (mk4-5) , waved at other modded dubs

owned a modded 2010 JKU (it's a jeep wrangler for you non jeep people), waved
now with the 997.2 4s, I wave, especially at air cooled ones, the majority of the owners are nicer

I tend to wave to all Porsche drivers, some wave back, although the drivers of Cayennes have a tendency to look back because they have no clue why you waved to them...

I wave at other Porsche and Euro owners, I notice there are a lot of older enthusiasts out there that tend to wave first!

I wonder what part of NY. I never thought that waving or flashing was even a thing for P-car owners, and I do not think that where in NY people even notice Porsches. They are too common. I think that it is cool and shows enthusiasm for the brand.
