I'm specifically referring to an HRE C21 model. I'm thinking of refinishing the paint on the center spoke to get rid of some rock chips and to freshen up the gloss on the paint. I'm not planning on splitting the outer lip from the wheel. I'm looking for advice from someone who's done it before. What are some of the DO's and DON'Ts. Removing the nuts and bolts around the spokes looks pretty straight-forward but should I worry about balancing and allignment in putting them back together? What kind of torque should I apply to the bolts?
