Anyone know the cost of new or used 997 seats?

I liked them when I sat in the 997 and want to keep heated seats in the 996. Looking to replace the supple leather seats. Can the 997 seats be easily adapted to retain the power and heat option if installed in a 996?

There's the issue of the airbags in the 997 seats. Superior they maybe, but the airbags need to be deactivated for these seats to be used on the 996.

Khalid,

If the airbags aren't connected, there shouldn't be any issues with them? correct? I imagine they are wired to an impact sensor in the 997. Since there is no such option in my car, wouldn't they be deactivated by default?

It still is an airbag with a detenator set to blow off inches from your shoulder blades You don't know what will set it off. I might be wrong but I prefer to err on the side of caution.
