You need a module to be able to run the LED as a DRL, and the "fogs" are the DRL. Not the middle LED.

You can do that, and it works well too, but some had their battery drained by this method.

Yes I read the diode mode as well and they havent found diode to be the culprit for dead batteries yet..so could be anything..
Can you guys share exactly which type "diode" you are using, like how many amps, series etc so I dont sound like a complete tard at the electronic store.

50v 1 amp from RadioShack.

Here's all the info you need;

http://rennlist.com/forums/9458453-post23.html

I cut the wires on the diode down and it fitted neatly back inside the connector cover. Been running it for a year with no issues at all.

Yes, the texture on the rear bumper is due to the lesser quality of the fiberglass bumper, BUT, there's no reason why it can't be as smooth as OEM. It just needs extra prep work, primer surfacer and extra block sanding. If you find a body shop willing to go that extra mile, texture shouldn't be an issue. I have misha bumpers and they came out as smooth as the metal panels.

That being said, if the OP is going for the GT3 look, it's best to stick to the OEM version for the best fitment.

Yes I am going with the GT3 look, It has been my dream car as far as I can remember. Thanks to the replies I am only going with OEM parts. So far I have been able to source OEM GT3RS front & rear bumper. Now can't decide on the wing?

Here's my car currently

This one?

Here's and "old" picture of mine, I went wingless, and with the Misha bumpers. No complaints except lead times.
