Hey everyone, thanks for the compliments. My car is starting to look like Evan's. I want to be cool like Evan. The only difference is he has more $$$ than me!
Someone asked about the tinting. I don't remember the exact percentage but I know it's the maximum permissable in Texas. I do know that the rear window is much darker than the sides.
Someone else asked about the wheels. I had them polished and painted at Wheel Enhancement in California. My dealer set it all up for me, had the wheels done and delivered, and then switched them out for me. I was lucky that Wheel Enhancement had the same wheels in stock. They painted theirs, sent them to the dealer, he put the new ones on and sent mine back to WE for the core charge. No down time. The whole deal with center caps and everything was around $1300. One of the best things they did was to paint the inside of the wheel black too. That helps cover the dust when I'm feeling too lazy to clean the wheels.
Evan, I talked to your dad this morning. He said that you have a certain exhaust in mind for Gina's car. From his description it sounds like it might be the right one for me too. Maybe if you change hers soon enough I can hear it before I put it on mine. All the mods depend on the quarterly commission check buddy. We'll see what kind of quarter I have. Gotta love being in sales.
BTW, today is my birthday! I don't like birthdays anymore... except for the fact that my wife bought me a Valentine One and I'm glad to have it, there is so much radar here in Tejas!

I don't know what he is talking about, I was thinking of the full GT exhaust (the one with integrated headers and cats and the single muffler), but when they mentioned you were looking at mufflers I said just do some export mufflers and be good to go...
This is a car with FVD mufflers:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I didn't even know!
Evan
Yellow on Black Wheels is AWESOME!! Your's look sweet!! I like those "Lobster ___" wheels too. I think they really compliment the 997 perfectly! Leaving the lips polished is niiiiice. I've painted some wheels myself and painting the inside of the rims is a real good idea. It prevents corrosion. I did 4X4 for a long time and the inside of the wheels where the first part to rust due to brake dust, moisture and the elements. I also helped VB997 install his Techart Springs and they really did made the car llok better with lower stance.
