got fistered over a year ago, just went in for smog,,guy snooped around,did the tailpipe thing and passed with flying colors..

 

Good news but also expected. A Gundo/Fister muffler mod affects the exhaust sound only.

But smog checks could be a problem when going to 200 cell high flow catalytic converters, cat bypasses, tunes, or other aftermarket exhaust mods from the headers on back.

 

No reason at all for it not to pass smog with the Fister mod. There is no modification whatsoever to the smog equipment or engine.

 

Mine passes smog with my Softronic tune.

 

mufflers don't affect emission...just sound (hence the name)
