TPC turbo

Currently have a C2S that I modified with plenum, air box headers 200 cell cats and mufflers plus ECU remapping 4 years ago. Thinking about the TPC turbo but I can only find reviews online of people who have done it to Caymans and hardly anybody to the 997. Would greatly appreciate any feedback of any 997 owner who went this route. Thanks!

There is thread on it. One guy never did get his running properly after the turbo install. Others love it.

His was an 05', not sure what happened with his car, TPC never did figured out the ECU on his 911. Everyone that I know on here are happy with theirs, Doc, Marathonbob comes to mind, there are a handful of us on here. Most are not active members anymore.

Here are 37 pages of reading if you are interested. Just search TPC turbo on the 997 section of the forum, plenty of information.

Get the VF Engineering Supercharger. Same result. Proven reliability. Plenty of folks who run this set up. (link below)

FWIW, Jake Rabi would suggest the FI of any type is not a good idea for an engine not designed for it. Then again, Jake is in the business of building/selling some pretty stout NA engines.

Just out of interest, any viable force induction options for 997.2 out there?

Sorry to derail the thread.

A company (VF I believe) mentioned they might have something down the road for this...that was like 5 months ago. I am extremely interested in this as well.

Hadn't been monitoring the site closely and noticed the reference to TCP. I've had my TPC turbo for several years now on my 997 C4. I've enjoyed it and its been reliable. I've done no special maintenance on it since purchase. It has amazing acceleration and a great sound. I've always loved the look of the 911 but the speed was underwhelming until I made this change. No regrets.

Yeah, I have the TPC on my 08 C4S. I can't believe how fast this car is on the interstate. It really shines above 80 mph. No issues with it, and support has been good with the few questions I've had.
