Plan on replacing your mats often. Depressing the clutch just makes your heel dig into it. I replace my mats often, and that's all the excuse I need. My stock mats had a hole when I got my car.

I bought some from Lloyd's as well "Carrera S" script in Porsche logo, black to match interior carpet with piping to match the stitching on the full leather kit (still can't tell if it's not-quite-white or very lightly silver)...

I'm the opposite: my croc boots just get killed by my mat on any of my vehicles. I always take them off and slip on some driving shoes every time.

Can't afford to buy crocs anymore!!

5 years and my mats are still like new? I don't drag my heel when shifting?I keep it resting on foot rest until it's time.I don't even think my heel touches the mat other then when it's at rest??

Well, my mats are also good after 70,000 hwy/city miles. We are the same.

Aren't your heels worn or dirty? Mine get dirty and scratched up. If they get dirty, then you are dragging.

I actually have a small aluminum pad that i place under the area of the brake and accelrator. Prevents any scuffing of the mats. Its held into place by special holder that clings to the mat preventing it from moving around.

I have the weathertek mats (live in Illinois with snow and salt) and they are perfect, no clutch marks.

As I'm preparing to track my car, I pulled the OEM driver's side mat and put in the rennline track mat. I love it especially compared to the carpet.
