Helped my buddy drive this beauty down from SF to LA yesterday. Heavily optioned 2005 997 C2S. Possibly a launch car (PCCB, FULL LEATHER, GT SILVER PAINT)

Just wanted to see if anyone knew the previous owner and possible history.

The -05 launch cars with PCCB's were black so this isn't one of those. Pretty car nonetheless. Looks like it's been well taken care of.

Drove like a new car. Everything still tight. No squeaks or rattles. Full leather was in MINT condition.

Had the short shift option so it was a treat rowing through the gears.

I was apprehensive for my friend at first due to the car being an early model 2005 (IMS/RMS issues), but looks like he picked up a winner.

It's getting a check up at Lucent this week to see what else it needs.

Great value. The sticker on this thing was $107K new!

 

At the listed price he would have STOLE that car, i'm sure he even got more off whats listed! - wow!

 

Exactly. He bought one way plane tickets for us from LA to SF with the intention of buying it regardless of condition. And the risk paid off.

It got a clean bill of health.

I told him to drive it for a year and sell it to me for the same price
