Hi everybody,

I have a guards red 997.2 with the Carrera S II wheels in standard silver.

I want to change the colour of my wheels to something eyepopping and spectacular! A colour that really pops in combination with the red exterior. Maybe gold metallic or charcoal gray metallic?

What are you recommendations? What is the most outrageous but still tasteful combo that you have seen?

Black, Grey, Then Gold,... Gold being the most contrast of these three.


What color is your interior?

 

timeless hyper silver for a classic sports car color.

 

I really like black. Especially with red calipers and black interior. My 2 cents. What's the color combo? And what fits your eye? Methodical or flashy?

 

My first choice would be black wheels with red pin-stripe.

Or bronze (sorry I meant Gold) if the car has an aggressive body-kit.

 

I would go for gun metal over black. Allows you to see some detail from a distance.

Black rims are a no go for me as rim and tire look like one piece without any contrast between them.

 

Black with a machined lip looks nice. Maybe not so much on red though?

 

i like black also. But i would go with bronze or gold if you want the wheels to be noticeable.

 

A brushed gold would be my vote. Keep us posted on what you end up doing.

 

I'm a fan of a gold 3 piece with polished lips. I have never done one, but I think an OZ Superleggera III would look cool.

Aside from gold, I would do a metallic anthricite before black or silver.
