Haven't done one of these until up to now... But with a few people stating that the 997S brakes are the same as the 996TT brakes an interesting situation came up. An owner with a Brembo Big Brake kit on a 996TT sold that kit to a 997S customer of ours who wanted to put the theory to test- to see if it would work. As luck would have it, the 15 inch BBK kit from brembo does indeed work a-ok on the 997S. Not that any of you need bigger brakes lol but if you were ever thinking of getting a kit from brembo for you 997S now you know it does actually work by ordering 996TT brakes

Those look nice. How do those brakes compare to the stock 997S brakes?

 

a front lip (techart or cargraphic) makes all the diff on the lame *** 997 nose!

 

I agree man! Otherwise they look too plain.. I usually don't like tech art stuff but that lip is sweet.

 

Actually they were noticeable different on the test drive... I don't have hard data for you but sure did feel darn good.

 

Is that a 4-pot caliper or what?
I had that caliper on the rear of my TT I believe but with a 14" rotor??

 

Those painted wheels make a huge difference in the way this 997 looks.

 

I'll get way better pix next time for you guys but it is an awesome color These don't show it off so well...
