997 owners please look!
Helped my dad get $5,000 off his 997S and it was the dealerships first '06. I'd try shopping around to a store in the midwest or in the north cause our weather here is starting to cool up and the market for Porsche sports cars slows down. Not negotiating the price up front could hurt, but most dealerships won't let a serious buyer walk out the door over a couple of bucks, especially with the mark up Porsche has. Good luck!
FWIW, PAG forbids it's dealers charging over MSRP, report them to PAG if they do. 3500$ off of a 997 is typical, expect almost nothing off a 997S, even less o a 997S cab. Always set a price before doing the deal, even if it's msrp, lease, whatever.
