When I checked my local dealers web site to see what he had in stock, no cars were listed, so I checked several other dealers with the same results!

Porsche must be making changes to their web sites

Midwest dealers have plenty of stock

Go to the dealer finder. Type in 60601, then 50 or 100 mile radius, then check out those dealers. Boxsters, C2's, Cabs, C4's & C4 Cabs inbound. You name it they all have several in stock, and healthy supplies of used 997's.

You know what that means...time to deal!

I wouldn't buy a new 996 C4S when the 997 C4S is just around the corner.

We've just turned the corner...

The 06 C4S above is a 997. The 996 did not have PASM...

I'm not so sure. Obviously the Sport Chrono is only available on the 997, but why would it come with the Turbo front fascia or the Turbo Look II wheels (items specific to the 996 C4S).

FWIW Autogallery in Woodland Hills had 3 new C4S in stock yesterday. The shipping material had not even been removed yet.

The first Porsche I bought was a 924. As soon as I signed the contract they wheeled the 944 in from the back and I almost pucked. Hang tough and wait
