How did you get a supercharger in California that is smog check approved? Because it is new, you have not had a smog check, yet. What were your plans when the time comes?

 

You have to smog before you can sell. It's not impossible, but can be done.

 

thanks guys for your concern, but I can smog it. I will be entertaining offers as is with all the goodies, including the stock sport design wheels.

 

He won't have to smog it for 4 years, and that said, it's not hard to get cars to pass smog even w/ non-carb parts. Most places will over look the visual, and unless the car is running extremely unhealthy, you shouldn't have to worry about the snif.

How reliable has the supercharger been? Why hasn't evo released the supercharger for public sale yet if your car is running well?

 

when Evo built my car it was a "1 off" where they made the 3.6 996 kit work on my 3.8 liter. They have since made some 997 specific parts which should be ready for production very soon. In addition they have been logging my computer to make sure car is running perfect and to fine tune the GIAC program. When all is done they will release the 997 kit.

i wish i bought a 911 and kept that for 4-5 years instead of buying a boxster with a lease for only 2 years cause i thought i would upgrade but now i want a nice condo and wanna put all my money into that instead of again gettng a new car in one more year now. but having a stock boxster for the next 2 -3 years is irking me alil bit.
