Aux Install Question

Hi Guys,

Sorry if this is a repost first of all.

Don't have a 911... yet... However, I am thinking of getting a 997.1 with 34,000 miles and doing a road trip from here in Houston up to Oregon and back over the summer.

Question being, what is the simplest way of playing iPhone music through stereo?

If anyone has any idea of prices, that would be great.

Obviously, a 911 road trip would be my idea of heaven - drove an S5 as an option but just couldn't convince myself to like it as much as a C2.

Thanks!

It would depend on Bose or non-Bose. Non Bose and quick head unit install (3-4 hours tops and basic tools) was the best option for me. About $500 all in and I have exactly what I want. With Bose add about $300 and more time.

Send your unit to Becker and they can install an aux. Or get the Dension unit.

I bought the Dension unit and pretty happy with it.

iSimple Tranzit BLU. Costs about $100 if you install it yourself and there's an install thread on rennlist by Ilko.

Thanks, guys - I appreciate it.

Will have a look at all the suggestions.

It's great to see a helpful community, been on other forums for other cars in the past and it has not been so welcoming.

Thanks!
