I think these are the best value and work well

At $70.00 it is a tiny cost compared to the Mobridge and similar systems.

The iSimple Tranzit BLU that Merv linked is the cheapest, functional option you're going to find. I added it to my 05 and it works great for streaming music from my phone and hands-free phone calls & texts, although it's not the best quality option. The sound is very good and the bass in my Bose stereo thumps, but it's not quite CD quality. I think it must be compressed some over Bluetooth. Unless you're a serious audiophile though it's not really noticeable.
I bought mine on eBay from user 702-motoring. You need a specific antenna adapter too because it taps into the FM antenna so it's actually hardwired in to the radio. It still overwrites a radio station, but there's no interference when hardwired in. I bought it from 702-motoring and then msg'd him and told him what car I'm installing it in and he knew exactly which antenna I needed so he sent me the PayPal invoice and just mailed everything to me together.

I have the Mobridge M2 Pro system installed in my 997.1 TT with PCM 2.1. The system allows full bluetooth telephone functionality using the PCM unit. It appears to be OEM, the only exception being a small mic that was added because the factory mic doesn't work with the Mobridge system. My mic is right above the rearview mirror, attached to the windshield. It's hardly noticeable. The system also allows for bluetooth audio streaming, replacing the CD changer in the MOST ring. It works very well. If desired, you can connect your phone via USB cable to charge it and to have more control over playlists through the PCM unit. I had the USB connector installed in place of the 12V socket in the passenger side footwell. It also looks like a factory installation.

I did it myself, it's pretty easy. The hardest part is figuring out how to take the PCM out of the dash. Find a good video showing how that's done though and once you do it that becomes a pretty easy process too. Here's a good step by step: http://rennlist.com/forums/997-forum...pcm-2-1-a.html
iSimple ordered from Amazon $3.99 shipping be here tomorrow...thank you folks. If it works as well as you guys say, I will be a happy boy.

I have the Nav-tv system, it's a little pricy but the music streams over the lighting cable and it's perfect, the phone is over Bluetooth and syncs texts and contacts, plus you can use the stereo buttons to control your phone.
If you want a direct-to-the-fiber-optic-loop option, with least amount of signal loss and full operational features like streaming tunes, calls, etc...Dension, Mobridge and NavTV are your primary options.
The Dension 500SBT is 5th generation bluetooth built in, and if you are considering this option instead of a modulator or non-direct-option, email me for a special deal.
