10ish-year compound pass

Gave Charlie a little TLC this weekend -- removed 10 years worth of oxidation, water spotlets and micro scratches on the body and headlamps.

For the body, I used a good rubbing compound paste with a dual-action buffer, then a good polish.

After that, a nice thick coat of Mcguire's Gold Class paste wax. Removed by hand, then buffed wih a wool bonnet on the buffer.

I used a plastic compound along with the buffer on the lights (all removed from the car, of course)

Also tech'd her for a track day next weekend.

Looks great. What brand of products did you use? Did you use a Porter Cable buffer?

Looks great! What compound and pad did you use for the lights?

Maybe I should resign my "enthusiast" membership as I was more interested in the hanging Pinarello, Profile rims and what looks like a Campag crankset (w/SpeedPlays?) than the Porsche!!! Nice car too though!
