CA CHPs out in force this holiday
Im off HWY 50 heading towards Tahoe.. Get off the fwy off ramp which goes uphill.. heres a plump Sgt CHP sitting in lawn chair in shade vehicle right close..He's shooting radar at cars heading E towards Tahoe.The on ramp goes downhill and not visible and there are chase cars waiting to roll..I was going to take a pic but didn't want to push my luck

Terrific. There are way to many idiots racing around on the freeways on crowded holiday weekends. I hope they write a bunch of tickets to those inconsiderate asshats.
On Saturday, I had some idiot in a Scion "ricer" car fly up my butt ( I was going bout 68 MPH in moderate traffic) and he was so close I could not see the front end of his car in my rear view mirror. He was swerving back and forth like he was trying to warm his tires before a race. There was traffic all around me and a car right in front of me. I was flowing perfectly with traffic. This idiot then swerved to the right of me and passed with his music blaring, windows down and a female dancing in the passenger seat. As he flew past me he flipped me the bird. I laughed at him, kept my pace and watched him swerving through traffic. Then I noticed as he did that to a white F150 pick-up truck the truck driver apparently did not take kindly to the actions or the bird and began chasing the Scion- great, two idiots now creating a traffic hazard. Unfortunately my exit approached and I got off the freeway. I would have loved to have seen a CHP sitting under an overpass and spot these asshats and stop them and book them for reckless driving.
