I'll be ordering a new Carrera S next month when my dealer's allocation comes up. This car will be replacing a Ferrari 355 GTS F1. I love the F-car, but I drive it too much to be able to afford the maintenance bills.

I'm also a paraplegic and have hand controls in the F-car. I'll be having hand controls installed on the Carrera S.

Anyway, here's what I'm ordering: aerokit, Tiptronic, sports exhaust, sport chrono, 19" classic wheels, wheel spacers. adaptive sport seats (these should male getting into and out of the car a lot easier for me), and floor mats.

I never use the sound system in any car I drive. Carbon fiber, extra leather, etc. holds no fascination for me.

Any suggestions on other options that I should consider?

Also, I'd REALLY like to have DSG, but I don't really want to wait another year to get the car. Any news on when this will be available?

 

I think DSG will be available after the 997TT is released...whenever that is

 

I'd get aftermarket wheels instead of the 19" classics just to be a little unique!
