Tomp is infamous around these parts
I had the gundo hack done and that added a 75% sound improvement then I added A Billy Boat center muffler bypass and that added 25% more to the sound.
It's just right, not loud at all when cruising at steady speed but when your on the gas it sounds mean!
You can hear it at a1/4 mile away when accelerating.

The BB bypass is basically the same as the sharkworks, bought it direct for under $600

I l looked at the BB and the Sharkwerks and although the BB is cheaper, the Sharkwerks seems to bolt to the same places as the the removed muffler and uses the same hardware. At least from the website pictures the BB does not. I guess that my concern would be the vibration of the BB without the anchor points.

Also you say that you got your BB pipes for less than $600 direct but the list it on their site at $764.50. Vivid Racing gave me a quote for $685 + $110 shipping which I found a bit excessive. Anyway, how long ago did you get yours?

I'm including from their respective sites pictures of the installed pipe so that you can see what I mean about the anchor points. The first one is the Sharkwerks...
