Springs and Coilovers for 997.1 S

Hi,

Was wondering what springs and/or coilovers do you recommend for 997.1 S? Want to reduce the gap.

Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

If you search, there are many threads regarding. H&R, eibach and techart are popular if going the springs route. Many coil over options as well.

For a 997.1 'S' model with PASM, look at Bilstein damptronics for street/track coilovers. For a more dedicated track car look at KW.

H&R Springs does the job nicely. I had coil overs on my prior Carrera and assuming your dampers are in good shape, save the money and go with springs.

I've had the KW V3 coilovers and there are 2 things that really set coilovers apart:
1) the ability the dial in the ride height exactly how you want it (which also means you can corner balance, unlike springs)

2) the ability to adjust the "soft or stiffness" of your suspension. I can dial it up to make the ride super stiff and responsive, or dial it down and feel actually softer and smooth than stock.

I just so happened to be selling my set... (shameless plug)

- budget
- track or street
- How much lower do you want
- Do you want to keep PASM or not
- Do you have aerokit
