Slow Crank Chronicle
Here is more info: my battery was almost 5 years old. I did replace it at the time the new cable was installed. A bit of history: with my old cable, the voltage never went over 12.85 volts with the engine running 2000 rpm and higher. Now with the new cable, the battery voltage is 13.85 to 14.25 volts with the engine again running at 2k plus rpm. So, I know that the battery is being fully charged when I am driving vs how it was prior to installing the new cable. Anyway, hope this additional info helps.
