Finally Bought One - 997.2 C4S

Been looking for over a year and finally got tired of searching and sitting on the sidelines. This is my first Porsche. The car will be on a truck on Monday and I'll update this thread with my own pics once it arrives. Thanks to everyone in the forum for their advice and for giving me great topics to read while I searched.

Here are the pics from the dealership for now...

Congratulations! beautiful car. Tell us about the factory options and please explain why 'this is the one' after a year. I am looking for a 911 GTS, I hope it won't take a year, I have the itch...

Thanks! Not sure why this "was the one". I saw a few that were good choices through the year. I guess it just came down to realizing that I could literally search forever nitpicking every car. This one looked very clean, had AWD, was a 997.2, and had only 24k miles on it, and had sports exhaust. Don't worry, if I could find a car, you will too

What's neat is that you bought it and did not "pull the trigger" on one, whatever that means. Nice car. Best of luck.

Nice! A 6 speed coupe! That was my wish list (among other things). Low miles. A good find. Congrads!

Very nice. I bought my first 911 last September and love it. I see you are in Colorado and bought a 4; Will you be driving yours in the winter?

Looks great! I've had my 997.2 C4S with a manual for less than a year and love it. I have a spare set of rims with winter tires and drive it sparingly in the winter. This might be a silly question and I haven't researched it - what is the difference between a red "S" and a silver "S" on the rear? The picture looks awesome and mine looks very similar but with a silver S

No difference other than one "S" is painted red. Bumperplugs has them available (no affiliation)
