Clear Bra by Long Distance

I think i will have to explain my thread title.

Does anyone here know of any company that is willing to paint and clear bra a front bumper? You see, there are no companies in the Philippines that does clear bra. And I plan to buy the RUF front bumper, have someone paint it there in the US of A and then clear bra it before shipping it here to me.

So if there any companies here or if anyone knows one, I sure would like to know.

Many thanks.

You need to give the paint time to cure before clear bra application. So if anyone does it, they'll need to sit on it for a few weeks. Good luck.

plug chief Eric should know better paint than i do. i just got the picky eyes, nothing more.

most people are concerned with the cost. to prep then paint an aftermarket market bumper is not easy, Ruf of not. without test fitting it & color matching before paint is even more scary. the paint needs more than 4 weeks to properly cured before the bra. no one local can do the job? i can't imagine shipping a painted bumper to that far without damage the paint...

Depending on how much $$$ you have or are willing to spend, maybe ship the car to the US and have all the work done, then ship the car back home.

I know of a few guys that do it from Canada and Europe all the time. Just trying to give other ideas... Good luck!

Have done that, although with another car.

Bought an R34 GTR in Japan, shipped to Califonia to convert to left hand drive. Then shipped to Australia for the engine work and Motec. Then on to Manila.

But all the while, when the car is on a boat. I was so nervous about it sinking.

One other option.

Is it possible to buy the material and I can try to install it here in Manila? Of course I am sure I will need lots of material as I will be wasting it by trial and error at first.

If so. Which companies sell them?

why not paint it in the philipines and make sure the color matches and it's been over four weeks, then send it to the states and have the clear bra applied and sent back to you?
