Mobil 5w-40 oil for my 997S in Bay Area
I recently had my oil changed and mechanics put in 0w-40 unfortunately, I wanted 5w-40.

As I top off my oil before my next oil change is it OK to add in 5w-40?

You can top off with different viscosity oil with no problem.

Advantage going with 5W instead of 0 W? Always used 0 since purchase. Also in Bay Area!!

I have trouble finding Mobil One 5w-40 in my area. I can find 0w-40 and 5w-30 everywhere. I just put Liqui Moly 5w-40 in my CLS because I couldn't find Mobil.
