Toe In to reduce "light" steering over front wheels?

Has anyone increased their front toe in and found that this made the steering feel "heavier" (in a good way), particularly when driving straight on a highway? Would really like to know what toe in worked for you. I'm currently at +0.02 deg in the front (and 0.17 deg in the rear).

The problem: When driving on highway straights, starting at around 70mph, the steering wheel starts to feel unusually lightweight (i.e. reduced steering effort). And in order to keep the car straight, additional steering wheel adjustments are required (all the while feeling "floaty").

I know that a lot of people consider the light feeling a "characteristic" of a rear engine car, but I'm hoping there's a way to dial some of it out.

Would any setting that is an increase over the stock setting going to increase tire wear?
