The love handles on the 997 are much sexier, took a step back to the 993

the 997 looks so much more flat... it looks much more exotic than the 996... and the bigger wheel opening makes the car look much better than the 996

 

Its truly unbelievable how outdated the 996 looks.

 

Definitely like the tail and the width of the rear fenders better. Do you think the area around the exhausts is camo?

 

Am I the only one that thinks that rear bumper on the 997TT is *** ugly???

 

It really does not look a whole lot different to me...*** end tail and bumper are beyond stupid ugly!

Does kinda look like a boxster from the front.....

The front end looks tiny compared to the over busy rear.....vents, vents and more vents!

wasn't the fact that the front end of the 996 was so indistinguishable from the boxster one of the things they were trying to avoid in the 997?

 

The entire rear end looks like a Mr. Potato Head gone wrong... the smaller lights don't go with the spoiler don't go with the exhaust cutouts don't go with IC exit don't go with the rear bumper... nothing goes with anything...

 

Best part about 997 is interior and 993 style headlights - I love the suede ceiling, Integrated nav, sport chrono, etc... Makes me feel like I am in the "nightrider" series from the 80's...

 

Hideous rear bumper......Hate the pipes that high up...looks like an acura or a bmw x5..
