anyone try Hankook Ventus tires?

Car is a 2011 Carrera 4S

Anyone try Hankook on a C4S?

I haven't searched for front tires, but find the rear specs (called a Hankook Ventus V12 EVO2 K120). Any thoughts?

Neb is infamous around these parts
I had the EVO1 on my 996 C4S, the grip is pretty good, better than the pzeros I had before. They were amazing in the wet, and overall the wear was very good. For the price it is hard to beat.

Bought a used 2005 C2S from the Houston area last summer - it had approximately two year old Hankooks. Literally, the drive home on I45, a huge bubble/delamination developed - 4 x 6 inch. I can't believe I made it home. 60+% tread left. Upon really close inspection - dry rotting on every tire. Probably won't ever consider them. I put on Bridgestone Potenza S-04s - not the best but they were available and nicely priced. A good choice - not noisy, very good in the wet, a little "spongy", so far, excellent wear...

I just got 4 from Tire Rack for $900 and $100 rebate. They are good tires and for that price they are great!

I ran the Hankook on my 4S. Decent wear and price. That's about it. Took forever to warm up to get "some" grip. Put a set of Continentals on now and boy what a difference. MUCH more grip by far and no need to warm up much to get the handling. Will never buy the Hankook's again.

If in stock I'm going with the Michelin's on the next set. I don't care about wear just grip.
