Loud pop and the handle is limp. Parts are cheap. However the dealer does not sell the broken part without the Bowden cable. Repair involves removal of the door cards. Then removal of the handle mechanism. If the cable is not broken, no need to replace although they say it's an updated version. Simply us clip the cable from the old mechanism. Reinstall cable on new mechanism, which they also say is an updated version. Reinstall door cards your done. Handle has a new firm feel when opening the door. Hope it lasts.
